Leah turns 4!!

I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by and my sweet little girl is already 4 years old! Leah amazes me every day and I couldn't be more proud of her. This whole weekend was all about celebrating Miss Leah! This lucky little girl was lucky to have two parties to ring in her 4th birthday. I didn't have the time to throw myself into the party planning and details this year, but I still wanted to have fun with her 'Despicable Me' theme. In the end, I think her two parties turned out good and everyone had fun!

Mase's shirt also came from Etsy - HalfPintTieDye

On Saturday morning, we had a 'kid' party at Ball Factory Cafe and Play in Naperville. It was a small get together with a few of Leah's closest friends. The kids were able to burn off some energy before heading into the party room for pizza and cupcakes.

After her party, we were all pretty pooped! We came home and relaxed the rest of the afternoon. Later on, I thought it would be fun to take her to Rain Forest Cafe for a fun birthday dinner. We packed up the car and headed out to Woodfield around 4:30 pm. When we got to the mall and went to check in, we were informed it would be a two and a half hour wait!! I was not anticipating this! Leah didn't really seem to care one way or another what we did, so we decided not to wait. We walked around the mall for awhile and then eventually Leah just said we should go home. Her birthday dinner was a bust! The next morning, was Leah's actual birthday. We surprised her with a pink Barbie Jeep Power Wheels! She loved it! (I think Mason may have liked it even more). She was so happy!
Sunday (today) was Leah's family party. Again, this year I was not going to go all out. I decided to just have it at a restaurant and call it a day! We had it at Traverso's in Naperville. We did appetizers and pizza. Overall, I think things went well.
