Holiday Dinner with Friends

Every year, our friends Andrew and Sara have their annual Holiday Party. Sara was expecting baby # 2 around Christmas, so they planned to have their party a little earlier than normal (on December 1st). Little did we know that baby Zachary had different plans. He arrived early on Thanksgiving day. (He is such a cute little guy).  Obviously, they no longer would be able to host the holiday party. Everyone had sitters lined up for that night, so we decided to still get everyone together. Danielle and Amanda took the initiative to make plans for us! We we opted  for dinner and drinks. We had a semi-private room at Gordon Biersch and it was so much fun.We met at 7:30 pm and had a big group - there were 20 of us! It was us, the Potter's, the Csorba's, the Shannon's, the O'Connell's, the Ross', the Concannon's, the Neumann's, the Barkus' and Doyle and Liz. Not all of our friends could join us and we missed them. Dinner was pretty good! It was so nice to get out with all of our friends.

After dinner, we walked over to Bar Louie and I ran into my girlfriend Kathryn! We had a drink and caught up for a bit. We then went over to 'Salt' to have another drink before heading home. My cousin Lauren and her fiance Danny were watching the kids and we didn't want to keep them at our house too late. We left to head home around 11:30 pm. From what I hear, everyone else kept the party going until the bar closed!

I am glad we got to get out for a little while! It was definitely overdue!
