Rob was off of work on Wednesday this week and he decided to plan a special day for him and Leah. He had a doctor's appointment that morning and he brought Leah along. Rob said she was a perfect angel and sat quiet as a mouse. He had to get some blood drawn and a tetnus shot and she held his hand and told him it was going to be okay. After the appointment, Rob had a fun-filled day planned for the two of them. First stop - Lego Land in Schaumburg. We've never been, but apparently Leah had a great time. They had lego figures (Sponge Bob was her favorite), a lego room to build stuff, a jungle gym type thing she could play around in and a 3D movie theather. They enjoyed hot dogs for lunch and then were on their way. Rob said it was fun, but probably not worth the cost.
After Lego Land, they stopped at the mall and shopped around for a bit. Then just when you think it would be time for them to come home, he decided to take her to Enchanted Castle! Talk about an action-packed day! Leah loves Chuck E. Cheese so he thought she would probably enjoy it there too!He was right. She had a blast. I think she enjoyed her special day with her dad. She was all tuckered out and passed out on the way home.
