Earlier in the month, we trekked it out to Woodfield Mall to see Santa. The line was not was bad, but the wait was forever! Overall, we probably waited about an hour or so. The line was just very slow-going. They did have a Despicable Me 2 display with the characters and a video playing, which helped keep Leah entertained. When you get to the front of the line, there is a 'snow globe' that they allow one family to go in at a time. There is fake snow falling from the 'sky' and TV's playing Christmas movies. The kids had fun running around in there for a few minutes before it was our turn to go see Santa.
Leah gave Santa a big hug and told him exactly what she wanted - a big bike and a big scooter. She was very happy that she got to see him. Mason, on the other hand was a bit unsure and wasn't too interested in sitting on his lap. He kept reaching for me and had a sour look on his face.

After our long wait, we shopped around for awhile. I had a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory, so we went and had an early dinner and enjoyed some cheesecake of course!
